About Us

About Me
Hi, I’m Sophie Harris, founder of One Running Movement!
I’ve been a passionate runner for over 10 years, but my journey didn’t start in the typical way. I didn’t grow up running, and it wasn’t until my early 20s that I fell in love with the sport. At first, it was a challenge to even complete a 5k, but through dedication, research, and a strong belief in my ability, I turned running into a transformative part of my life.
My journey has had its ups and downs— injuries, burnout, and self-doubt—but each setback taught me something invaluable. Running has not only made me physically stronger, but it’s also helped me develop mental toughness and resilience that I carry with me in all areas of life.
Through One Running Movement, I aim to share what I’ve learned over the years to help others become better, healthier, and more confident runners. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or an experienced runner looking to reach new goals, my goal is to provide you with the tools, inspiration, and knowledge to unlock your full potential.
This site is more than just about running—it’s about creating a community of runners who support each other, push each other, and celebrate each other’s victories, big or small.
Thanks for being here, and I hope my journey can inspire yours.

How I Got Started
One Running Movement was born out of a passion for running and a desire to create a community that empowers runners of all levels to improve, push their limits, and achieve their goals—whether you’re lacing up your shoes for the first time or training for your next marathon.
Me
I am a passionate runner who thrives on pushing my limits, but when I’m not hitting the pavement, you’ll find me sipping a hot cup of tea and enjoying quality time with her dogs.
The First Race
My first race was a nerve-wracking yet exhilarating experience that pushed me beyond my limits, leaving me with a sense of pride and a newfound passion for running.
Fill The Cup Of Others
At One Running Movement, we harness the power of running to support philanthropic causes by organizing events and initiatives that raise awareness and funds for communities in need.
